Our desire is to help God's children escape the bondage of debt and be victorious over the devil's financial schemes to enslave them, so they can lead debt free and prosperous lives which will enable them to fulfill the purpose for which they were born.

"...I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers."  3 John 1:2

How does Christian Debt Relief differ from secular programs?
That's an excellent question.  Sometimes the difference may be hard to discern.

There are companies who claim to be "Christian" companies, who do little different from secular companies and there are secular companies that employ programs that are in accordance with God's Word.  The best answer would be to say that there really is no such thing as a "Christian" company.  The term "Christian" describes a follower of Christ.  It's someone who patterns their beliefs and actions on the foundation that Christ is Lord.  Since a business doesn't think or act (only the employees do) the company itself isn't a Christian.  However, any company whose employees (especially the owners) are Christians, will base the companies policies and programs on Christian principles found in God's Word.

The Bible tells us that The Word (Jesus) became flesh and dwelt among us.  The most common question then, for business Christian business owners and employees to ask when establishing those policies and procedures should always be "What would Jesus do?"  The Bible also tells us that "by their fruits you shall know them."  Any company that uses the Bible for guidance, rather than secular wisdom, should also be able to provide you with Biblical proof of how their recommendations are in harmony with God's purpose desires.

What do you mean by Biblical Prosperity?
Wealth is measured by a persons material posessions. Prosperity is defined as a thriving condition.  Many people are wealthy but not prosperous and there are prosperous people who are not wealthy.  Many people mistakenly associate wealth with prosperity.  Even among some ministers, there are those who preach the "prosperity gospel" which focuses on wealth.  Adversely, there are those who preach that the love of money is the root of all evil, and spiritual people should live in poverty.  True Biblical prosperity, like any truth, is usually found somewhere in between.  It means being "content" with where you are.  It means more than just having enough to take care of your needs.  True prosperity means having more than enough (an abundance) so you can help others less fortunate as well.  That includes posessions, money, time and health.

What types of solutions do you offer?
After years of financial advising and spiritual counseling we have learned that money is God's spiritual training ground.  Any time you are facing financial troubles, it usually means that God is trying to teach you something important.  The key is to learn what that something is.  It might be a simple correction in your beliefs about money, or in the way you utilize it.  As we look at your specific situation, we can make recommendations to correct problems based on what the Bible says.  Then we recommend you spend some time in thoughtful prayer and contemplation to decide for yourself what actions you feel God wants you to take.

We utilize consultations and counseling as well as online educational programs to educate you on how to become a better steward of the money God has blessed you with.

If your situation is severe and dictates a program such as settlement or bankruptcy, we can provide a referral through our extensive network of Christian providers.  For a more detailed answer check out our programs page by clicking the "programs" button at the top or bottom of this page.

What does it cost?
Exodus Debt Relief was founded as a ministry of Eagle Financial Group.  We are supported by donations.  Our consultations and counseling are provided as a ministry to anyone who is facing financial difficulty.  When you  contact us our focus is to help you find solutions based on Biblical principles, not "sell" you something.  We rely on Him as our source, not client fees.  If we are of benefit and God places it on your heart to make a donation to support this ministry, God Bless You, but that is between you and God.

What will it do to my credit?
It is important for a Christian to maintain a good name and reputation.  Our lives should serve as a testimony to others.  Your credit rating can be an indication of how you handle your affairs.  So we are always "credit conscious" when making recommendations.  Unfortunately, your credit rating can also make you more attractive to predatory lenders so it is important that you are aware of their practices and know how to avoid them.

Sometimes people are worried about their credit for the wrong reasons.  They become more concerned with how "men" will see them, rather than how God sees them.  If you had to choose between the two, it's always wise to make sure you have a good reputation with God before you worry about your reputation with the world.
